Our Approach to Restoration

Every restoration project is unique. We begin by assessing the condition of the metal and understanding how it has been shaped by age, environment, or previous treatments. From there, we design a plan to clean, repair, or re-patinate while preserving the integrity of the piece.

We’re known for honest, practical advice. If a treatment isn’t possible or won’t last, we’ll say so, and suggest alternatives that will. Our focus is always on achieving long-term results rather than temporary fixes. Whether the goal is to return a piece to its original appearance or to reinterpret its finish, we guide the process with care.

Our Restoration Services

  • On-site Sculpture Restoration & Cleaning

    We work both in our Deptford studio and on-site throughout the UK. Our services include cleaning, re-patination, and re-waxing of installed works and architectural details.

  • Long-Term Maintenance

    We provide annual and seasonal maintenance contracts for indoor and outdoor sculptures and installations, including wax sealing, cleaning, and patina renewal when required.

  • Architectural & Furniture Restoration

    We maintain and restore metalwork in buildings and furniture, from brass panels to zinc bar tops and steel stair rails, always respecting the original context and finish.

  • Metal Finishing Repairs

    Our team repairs cosmetic damage to sculptures, statues, and installations. We rebuild, chase, and restore surfaces so the repair is seamless and faithful to the original work.
